Human evolution is an evolutionary process which leads to change in human’s shape, size and mental structure. It focuses particularly on evolutionary history of human beings. It has been said that primates diverged from mammals about 85 million years ago and about 8 millions year ago, humans were formed. There has been change in humans too and human evolution is a long term process which may continue further, but the question that arises is : what next? What will be the next form of human beings? What will they look like? What will be their mental condition or mind set?
With the rapid change of technology and majority of human population changing along with it, the time has come when humans might be created artificially. Humans are created biologically but with the change in technology and humans adapting to it more every day, it won’t take long for us to witness artificial human beings. This may be based on computers and machines, not on biology. We may be very far from this but “Artificial Intelligence” is a branch of computer science which can create species that can actually outcompete humans. Yet no computers have general adaptable intelligence of humans and have the capacity to reproduce themselves but we cannot challenge the dynamic nature of technology. Someday we might witness a reproducing computer, but it should be known that it is a part of science and science is unpredictable. Artificial humans may look like humans but they may not be as intelligent as humans. They may be able to complete tasks like humans but they probably will not be able to think and create innovative ideas like humans. They may be able to mimic like humans and provide entertainment but they will not be able to satisfy humans without innovative stuffs. It is ironic to talk about human machines in 'human evolution’ but this is possible - especially by looking at the stages humans have been at. Humans are becoming lazier and dependent each day, so they might bring this idea into use sooner or later - to make their work easier. For example :- this idea might be used to lessen their struggles while giving birth to a child or growing them up ; there are some parents who want children but are unable to have any on their own because of several issues. This might be the solution for such infertile parents. And for those who are seeking for help in their old age, this might be the best solution as they might live longer. It is only a matter of time as things change with time. If one starts adapting this, others might use this for various purposes including competition. Human machines - better known as robots - might not be able to think like humans or become as innovative as humans but they can really be helpful in completing tasks and performing variety of works.
As each generation passes by, humans are finding it difficult to take out some of their time for family and do other things, but with the help of artificial humans, they can actually arrange family time and can perform activities which had not been done due to time factor. It might be useful for one but not for all. It might be helpful in doing one task but obviously, it hinders others. There can be lots of issues regarding this but this can be a serious factor in changing human evolution.
This whole idea does not contain complete truth; these are just my ideas and predictions.
